“Vital Conversations on Immigration” is a new Bible Study produced by the UMC General Commission on Religion & Race that is designed to spark honest and courageous conversations about immigration through the lens of our Christian faith. Immigration can be a sensitive and deeply personal topic – especially in congregations where perspectives may vary widely. That is why it is important to create an environment rooted in grace, empathy, and discipleship to get the most out of these vital conversations.

“Vital Conversations on Immigration” will feature five sessions on consecutive Monday evenings during Advent 2025 – November 24, December 1, December 8, December 15, and December 22, 2025 – from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
